CanSkate sessions are held up to 4 times a week. As mandated by Skate Canada, CSA approved hockey helmets must be worn by skaters in levels 1-5. Bicycle Helmets are not allowed. Level 6 is exempt (green skate ribbon).
Skaters are placed in groups according to their ability. Group instruction and supervision is provided by professional coaches and qualified Program Assistants. Skaters in CanSkate 4+ may try out for the Youth Synchronized Skating Teams. Private lesson instructions by a coach enables your child to progress faster through the CanSkate badges.
