Canskate Trained Coach

I started properly skating when I was 6 years old at the Dresden Skating Club, and I’ve skated
basically every season since. In 2017, I moved to Brantford to attend Wilfrid Laurier University,
where I graduated with my Honors Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media and Journalism, with a
minor in Indigenous Studies, and loved the city so much I decided to stay.

While I became an official CanSkate coach in 2019, I have lots of other involvement with skating
and Skate Canada prior to coaching. I was a Pre-Can and CanSkate program assistant with the
Dresden Skating Club for 9 years and was a member of the Laurier Brantford Figure Skating Club
throughout my entire time at Laurier, and was the President of the club in my 3rd and 4th year. I
have also volunteered at national and international level competitions. Skating has been my
passion for several years, and I am excited to share my love of skating with others, and to gain
experience as a coach!
